Terms of service
Last updated 16 September 2026
These terms apply when a clinic or a dentist uses Clinidanth software, a Clinidanth clinic website, or Clinidanth Khata.
1. What we provide
Software you use through a web browser, to run a dental clinic or to keep a visiting consultant's own case records. We keep it running, keep it backed up, and improve it over time.
2. What you agree to
- Give correct details when you sign up, and keep your password to yourself. Each person who uses the software should have their own login.
- Use the software only for your own clinic or your own practice, and follow the dental council's rules and the law.
- Only record patient information you are entitled to record, and tell your patients how you use their information.
- Do not try to break into, copy, resell or reverse-engineer the software.
3. Your data is yours
Your patient records and clinic data remain yours. You can download them at any time, on any plan. We never sell them or use them for advertising.
4. Payment and plans
- Prices are shown before you start and are charged monthly or yearly in advance. Prices do not include GST unless stated; GST is added if it applies.
- New clinics get a free trial period. You can stop before it ends and pay nothing.
- If a payment is not made, we give you 15 days, then the software becomes read-only: you can still open, print and download everything, but not add new records. Nothing is deleted.
- We may change prices with 30 days' notice. Any period you have already paid for stays at the old price.
- Fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
5. Stopping
You can stop at any time; tell us and we will close your account at the end of the period you have paid for. Download your data first. We delete closed accounts' data within 30 days. We may close an account that breaks these terms or does not pay, after telling you.
6. What we do not promise
- Clinidanth is a record-keeping tool. It does not give clinical advice. Every decision about a patient is the dentist's own.
- We work to keep the service available at all times, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted, for example during an internet or Cloudflare outage.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, and for keeping your own additional records where the law requires them.
7. If something goes wrong
If we are at fault, our responsibility to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the problem. We are not responsible for lost profits or indirect losses. Nothing here limits any responsibility that cannot be limited by law.
8. Privacy
Our privacy notice explains how information is handled. For patient records, the clinic is the Data Fiduciary and Clinidanth is the Data Processor under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We act on the clinic's instructions, keep the records secure, and help the clinic answer its patients' requests.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will tell you by email or inside the software at least 30 days before the change, unless the change is needed sooner by law.
10. Law
These terms follow the laws of India, and the courts of Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh will decide any dispute.
These terms are written in plain English for our customers. They are not legal advice, and a lawyer has not yet reviewed them.
