Privacy notice

Last updated 16 September 2026

This explains what Clinidanth does with two different kinds of information: your details if you are a dentist who contacts us or uses our software, and patient records that a clinic keeps inside our software.

1. Who we are

Clinidanth makes clinic software, clinic websites and the Clinidanth Khata logbook. We are based in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India. You can reach us at hello@clinidanth.com.

2. Patient records belong to the clinic, not to us

When a clinic uses Clinidanth, the clinic decides what patient information is recorded and why. In the words of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the clinic is the Data Fiduciary and Clinidanth is the Data Processor. We hold and protect those records on the clinic's behalf and act on the clinic's instructions.

Patients: if you want to see, correct or remove your dental records, please ask your clinic. They hold your records; we only store them for the clinic.

3. What we collect about you (dentists and clinic staff)

We ask for your agreement before contacting you, and you can withdraw it any time by replying to us or writing to hello@clinidanth.com.

4. Cookies

We use one cookie, and only after you sign in: it keeps you signed in. There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no third-party analytics on our site or in the software.

5. Where the information is kept

Clinidanth runs on Cloudflare's network. Databases are created in the Asia-Pacific region, and Cloudflare may hold copies on servers outside India as part of running the service. The DPDP Act allows this, except for countries the Government of India restricts. All information travels encrypted (HTTPS) and is encrypted where it is stored.

6. Who else sees it

Only the companies that make the service work: Cloudflare (hosting, databases, file storage and sending our emails). We do not share your information with anyone else, unless the law or a court requires it.

7. How long we keep it

Clinic records: for as long as the clinic uses Clinidanth, and for 30 days after the clinic asks us to close the account. Demo requests: up to 2 years. Technical records: up to 90 days.

8. If something goes wrong

If information is ever exposed by mistake, we will tell the affected clinics and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires, explain what happened, and say what we are doing about it.

9. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or nominate someone to act for you. Write to hello@clinidanth.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Changes

If we change this notice, we will change the date at the top and tell clinics by email or inside the software.
